reading and "the other"
I submitted a guest post to the Rejectionist's challenge earlier this month, and, well, the Rejectionist rejected it. (The note was very polite and friendly! It's almost as if the Rejectionist gets a lot of practice writing them. :3)
But I was encouraged to post what I'd written anyway, so, here it is. I welcome your thoughts on this topic, too.

I keep forgetting to post for months at a time, and sometimes the site breaks and I have to fix it, and then I forget what I wanted to say, and...
So, let's see. I moved to Toronto! I'm having to find new specialists and doctors all over again... and that gave me the idea for a post. I've found it remarkably different to get the first indicator of a direction of where to go, so maybe this will get indexed by Google and be useful to someone out there. As someone who is almost always more comfortable in the realm of words than most other places, it came as rather a shock to me last week to realize I don't have the language to describe . . . well, any of this.
It came clear in a meeting with the Gatekeepers, whose increasing demands for an oral tale that they could search for keywords, convert to writing, and pigeonhole into one of several numbered boxes went unfulfilled that morning. The tension was palpable and frustration was evident for all of us.
